Christie has been an entrepreneur & business owner/manager for close to 20 years. As a partner now in OC Dental Academy, she heads up enrollment, the on-boarding process, and insures that each student receives both a positive and productive educational experience.  Importantly, Christie helps students prepare for their Dental careers, with everything from arranging job interviews, resume assistance, interview training, and liaising with the specific Dental office to make sure a students skills and experience match the offices requirement.

LEAD INSTRUCTOR/INSTRUCTOR TRAINER

Stacie is an experienced dental assistant and is driven by the sheer joy of teaching. Spending nearly a decade as a math teacher, she takes pride in providing a clear path to learning. Her goal is for students to understand how to become an exceptional dental assistant. “As a single parent, not knowing where to go, OC Dental Academy provide me an opportunity to get a job fast and provide for my new baby. Being a dental assistant gave me the confidence to further my dream of getting my BA at UC Irvine. I landed a job as a Math Teacher at a local High School, and now I am back helping train dental assistants become the best they can be.”

Patti has been in the dental field since dentists weren’t required to wear gloves. Her extensive background in the field of dentistry began as a registered dental assistant, eventually working her way to become an office manager. She has had a number of roles, but her latest endeavor has been working with OC Dental Academy to train students who want to work on the administrative side of dentistry. She is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. “I love my job and I am excited to impart my dental wisdom to all who want to become a part of a dental team!”

Dan has been a business owner, partner and board member for various companies since the early 1990’s.  Dan’s primary role with OCD will be focused more towards marketing, finance, and providing managerial decisions that will give OCD the flexibility, adaptability and expandability to meet the important MISSION of providing Dental Careers and certifications to students, while in-turn providing quality students to Dental Practices.

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

After earning her BA at Biola University, Tiffany entered the marketing world to explore her passion for interpersonal communication. Currently, she works as director of marketing and business development for OC Dental Academy, where she focuses on painting a picture of what it is like to be one of our students and how to get into the dental field in the most efficient and cost-effective way. She has spent 6 years as a dental assistant learning what it takes to become a part of a dental team. “I am currently applying this knowledge to my role as director of marketing, where I am able to give clearer insight into this career path. By day, you can find me curating content, analyzing post performance, or doodling on our latest Facebook post. By night, I am typically failing at Pinterest recipes or finding outdoor adventure with my new husband

FOUNDER/BOARD MEMBER SINCE 2004

Konni began her dental career at 17 years old. “I wanted more than restaurant work or flipping burgers. I wanted a career.” She borrowed her mom’s car and went on a job search for dental offices that would train her. For 28 years she made her career as a Registered Dental Assistant, gaining experience in the dental field. In 2004 she was approved for operation and OC Dental Academy was born. For the past 14 years, her school has been featured in articles, newspapers, and has even been televised in an episode of “Storage Wars”. Konni is setting a new standard on how to train dental assistants. Her commitment to training students is changing the way dental assistants enter the field. “I love the field of dentistry and working with people who are searching for a meaningful and secure career.” She is currently working on her Fellowship status thru the American Dental Assisting Association, and is a dental assisting clinical Instructor at KCC Community College. She has 2 married girls that live on the Central Coast of California. She enjoys gardening, decorating, and of course studying the newest trends in dentistry. We love her positive attitude, incredible knowledge, and effective help with job placement.
